All medications come with side effects. Suboxone is no different. Neither are the medications you’re trying to come off of!
The most common side effects of Subxone are constipation, headache, sleep issues, and dry mouth. The headaches are because of dehydration and patients need to increase water intake while on the medication. Increasing water intake will also help with constipation. Patients who experience sleep issues will usually notice that they resolved in a month or two. There are also several other more rare side effects that will be discussed with your during your visit.
